We have made our Woodland Montessori Floor bed to help you design your little one's bedroom around their needs and capabilities. We wanted to add extra fun to their sleep times with our Woodland Rail. The trees on the front rail flips, which give them something to play with just before falling asleep:)
Now, with the new member of the Woodland Collection, you can neatly store toys, books and more under the frame of our new Woodland House bed!
Not to mention that we have designed our beds minding the distance between slats must be no more than 2-3/8 inches (6 centimeters) to protect infants from falling out and toddlers from trapping their heads between the slats. The gap between the mattress slats is also very important to support the mattress, so backbone of our little one's correctly. Having slats closer to one another distributes the body weight evenly and prevents sinking. The gap between our mattress slats is 1.57" (4cm) which is much narrower than the alternatives offered in the market.

MADE OF HIGH QUALITY ASH WOOD
We use high quality, 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inch (4.5 x 4.5 cm) natural ash wood in our bed frames and 1 3/4 x 1 3/16 inch (4.5 x 3 cm) ash wood in rail frames for extra sturdiness. Each piece is hand sanded to a smooth finish.

That is why we treat the natural ash wood with a wax, resin and water based self-sealing finish which is safe for your baby. It is water repellent and breathable, and easy to clean. It is tested and approved by IBR, Intitut für Baubiologie Rosenheim. The performed analysis certify that the finish is complying in terms of VOC content, biocides, heavy metals and radioactivity, guaranteeing full eco-compatibility with Green Building principles. The safety of the finish we use is guaranteed by EN 71-III certificate too.
It provides excellent protection with a pleasant natural matt effect. It prolongs the life of the wood by increasing mechanical wear resistance of the wood.
