What is a Montessori floor bed?
A Montessori floor bed is a low bed designed to support children’s independence.
Because the mattress sits close to the floor, children can safely climb in and out of bed on their own.
What age is a Montessori floor bed for?
A Montessori floor bed is commonly used for toddlers transitioning from a crib, typically between 18 months and 3 years old, but it can be used earlier or later depending on the child and room safety.
When should a child transition from a crib to a floor bed?
Many families choose to transition when their child:
• begins climbing out of the crib
• shows curiosity about getting in and out of bed independently
• starts developing a regular sleep routine
A Montessori floor bed allows children to safely move in and out of bed while supporting independence.
Can an adult lie in the bed with the child?
Yes. Our beds are made from solid ash wood and designed to be strong enough for parents to lie next to their child during bedtime routines.
Are your finishes and materials safe for children?
Yes. Our furniture is made from natural ash wood and finished with water-based, child-safe finishes tested according to EN 71-III safety standards.
How strong are the beds?
Our beds are made from solid ash wood and designed to be sturdy and durable.
The mattress slats are spaced 1.57 inches (4 cm) apart to provide strong mattress support and even weight distribution.
Why is the spacing between the rails important?
Safety is one of our top priorities.
The spacing between the rails is designed to be less than 2.36 inches (60 mm) to help prevent children from trapping their head, arms, or legs between the rails.
What mattress height do you recommend for beds with Woodland railing?
For beds with Woodland rails and flipping trees, the mattress height should not exceed 9.75 inches (24.8 cm) so the trees can rotate freely.
Is the mattress included?
No, the mattress is not included unless specifically stated in the product listing.
This allows families to choose the mattress type that best suits their child’s needs.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide via trusted carriers such as FedEx.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination.
Do you ship to APO/DPO/FPO Addresses?
Unfortunately we are not able to ship to APO/DPO/FPO addresses for now. We recommend our FPO/APO/DPO customers:
-to use a mail-forwarding service
-having them send to a family member first
-to provide us their local physical address if they live off base.
Do I need to pay customs or import taxes?
For many destinations such as the EU, UK, USA, Canada, and Australia, we offer shipping options where customs and import taxes are already included in the price.
However, customs regulations may vary by country, and additional charges may occasionally apply depending on local authorities.

How long does production take?
Most of our furniture is made to order.
Production times may vary depending on the product and current order volume, but typically do not exceed 8 business days.
Is assembly required?
Most of our furniture is delivered flat-packed to ensure safe international shipping.
Assembly is simple and usually takes 20–30 minutes, depending on the product.
Each item comes with clear and easy-to-follow assembly instructions.
Can you make items in custom sizes?
We do our best to meet your expectations and requests. Let us know how you wish us to customize your order and we will contact you to discuss the details.
Can I choose different colors or finishes?
Yes. Many of our items can be customized with different stains or painted finishes.
You can also choose to paint decorative elements such as the Woodland tree tops.
