Moving from Abstract to Concrete - The Foundation of Montessori Education for Toddlers, Preschoolers, Kindergarteners or First Graders
By surrounding your little star with concrete materials during sensitive, early years, you can help your child to learn the basic concepts of language and math. Concrete hands-on learning materials and toys make abstract concepts clearer for their curious minds.
Starting from the age of 2, your kiddos can trace the prewriting lines and shapes with their fingers. If you have bought our Ten Frames with bamboo tongs, or Flower Counting Board, their little fingers soon will be strong enough to grip wooden pen for tracing :) I have added the links of these items at the bottom.
Montessori believed that “what the hand does, the mind remembers”. So, a Number Wood Tracing Board will help your child easily internalize the shapes:)
The board is in DIN A4 paper dimensions (210x297mm ~ 8 1/4” x 11 11/16”) and wooden pencil is included!
Please note that we can engrave your personalized text, (max. 20 characters) at the back of the board. Engraving name and surname of the little owner will help your child to learn writing her/his name.
