Solid Ash Wood Construction
We use premium 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inch (4.5 x 4.5 cm) natural ash wood for the main frame and 1 3/4 x 1 3/16 inch (4.5 x 3 cm) ash wood for the railings, creating an exceptionally sturdy and durable bed frame.
Mattress Support Options
The bed can be ordered with or without mattress slats.
We recommend using slats to allow air circulation under the mattress, which helps prevent moisture buildup and keeps the sleeping surface cooler and more hygienic.
Natural & Child-Safe Materials
All wooden parts are made from FSC-certified ash wood sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Each piece is hand sanded and finished with a water-based wax-resin protective finish that is:
• child-safe
• breathable
• water-repellent
• easy to clean
The finish complies with EN 71-III safety standards and has been tested by IBR – Institut für Baubiologie Rosenheim.
